Membership & Fees

To play with Cairns Dodgers Baseball Club, there are two types of fees required for the season:

  1. Club (Dodgers) Fees – Paid directly to Cairns Dodgers Baseball Club.
  1. Game Day / League Fees – Paid via GameDay and include registration, insurance, and affiliation with Baseball Queensland.

How to Register & Pay

Ready to join the Dodgers? Registering is easy!

Complete the Player Registration Form below for the upcoming season. If the player is under 18 years of age, the form must be completed by a parent or guardian.

Once your registration has been received, one of our committee members will review your details and contact you to confirm your registration, team placement (where applicable), and the fees payable.

Your registration fees are made up of two separate payments:

  • Cairns Dodgers Membership Fees – payable directly to Cairns Dodgers via bank transfer.
  • GameDay League & Insurance Fees – payable online through the GameDay registration system.


When your registration is confirmed, we’ll email you with:

  • Your total Cairns Dodgers Membership Fees and our bank account details.
  • A link to complete your GameDay payment online.


Please note: GameDay League & Insurance Fees can only be paid online through the GameDay system.

By completing this registration, you consent to Cairns Dodgers Baseball Club taking photographs and/or video recordings of the registered player during club activities, including games, training sessions, presentations, fundraising events and other club-related activities. You acknowledge and agree that these images and recordings may be used by Cairns Dodgers Baseball Club for promotional and communication purposes, including but not limited to.

  • The club website
  • Social media platforms
  • Newsletters and email communications
  • Promotional materials, brochures and flyers
  • Local newspapers and media
  • Sponsor and community promotions

No personal information other than the player's first name (and team where applicable) will be published without additional consent.

If you do not consent to the use of photographs or videos of the registered player, please notify the Club in writing before the commencement of the season. Every reasonable effort will be made to respect your wishes; however, we cannot guarantee that the player will not appear incidentally in team or event photographs taken in public sporting environments.

I’ve been involved in baseball in Cairns for the past five years, starting out by assisting with junior teams in 2020 while my children were playing. In 2022, I stepped into the role of Junior Coach and have since also become involved as a committee member and Club Secretary, while continuing to play in the senior competition.

I love the game and the challenges it brings, both as a player and a coach. What started as a way to spend more time with my children quickly grew into a passion for helping develop the club and supporting the next generation of players. Being part of a group of people who share the same love for the game is what keeps me coming back each season.

One of the most rewarding parts of coaching is watching young players grow in confidence and begin to apply the skills we’ve worked on at training during games. For me, it’s all about creating a positive environment where kids feel supported, enjoy themselves, and learn to keep moving forward—especially after making mistakes.

My coaching style is laid back and focused on building strong fundamentals without overwhelming younger players. I believe confidence comes first—once that’s in place, the skills will follow. It’s important that players learn, improve, and most importantly, have fun along the way.

If you’re thinking about joining, come down and have a go. We have teams for all ages and skill levels, and there’s a place here for everyone.

One of my favourite baseball memories is watching my oldest son hit a triple in his first tournament—the excitement and pride he felt reaching third base is something I’ll never forget.
